About Dreaming Of The Magic

Hi! We’re Elaine and Dave and, together with our 3 kids (J aged 6, E aged 4 and M aged 1) we’re Dreaming of the Magic! We’re huge Disney fans and regularly visit the parks. So far in 2024, we’ve visited Disneyland Paris and Disneyland California and will be checking out Tokyo Disneyland very soon!

What started with a last-minute weekend visit to Disneyland Paris quickly turned into a Disney obsession and has led us to frequent visits to Walt Disney World, Disneyland Resort California and back to Disneyland Paris many times!

In the last couple of years, we’ve spent months enjoying the Disney parks and have gained lots of tips, tricks and insights for visiting Disney. Our kids have grown up in the parks so we’re also experts on navigating Disney with babies, toddlers and young kids – our 1-year-old spent over 60 days in Disney by her 1st birthday!

From rides to dining and meeting the characters to where to stay and how to rope drop, we absolutely love everything Disney related. We’ve stood in the lines, strategised countless early entries and rope drops, secured the most sought-after reservations (Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in Magic Kingdom, anyone?!), ate all the snacks and closed down the parks more times than we can remember!

We’ve created Dreaming of the Magic to share our Disney experiences and help you plan your own Disney vacations with the benefit of all our tips and tricks which take our Disney adventures to another level.

Alongside Disney, we’re huge theme park fans in general and love to visit Universal, Legoland and any other theme park we come across on our travels – we also cover those parks on Dreaming of the Magic because… theme parks!
