There’s truly nothing quite like Christmas at Disneyland Paris — and it’s one of our absolute favourite times to visit. The parks shimmer under twinkling lights, snow gently falls on Main Street U.S.A. and every corner is filled with festive cheer. From the first glimpse of the giant Christmas tree on Town Square to the sight of Mickey and Minnie leading Mickey’s Dazzling Christmas Parade, it feels like stepping straight into a Disney Christmas movie.
This year, Disneyland Paris Enchanted Christmas 2025 runs from 8 November 2025 to 6 January 2026, bringing even more magic with new shows, festive treats, exclusive character greets, and sparkling decorations across both parks and Disney hotels. Whether it’s your first Christmas trip or a returning tradition, it’s the most wonderful time of the year to experience the magic.

🎉 Mickey’s Dazzling Christmas Parade
The highlight of the season is Mickey’s Dazzling Christmas Parade which features glowing floats, joyful music and our favourite characters in festive outfits. The parade runs twice daily, a day time and a dusk performance with an illuminated version each evening. The parade times will cvary so check the Disneyland Paris app on the day.
We absolutely love this Christmas Parade and can’t wait to see it this year.

🎟️ Reserved Parade Viewing Area
From 8 November 2025, guests can book a reserved viewing area for Mickey’s Dazzling Christmas Parade via the Disneyland Paris app. Located near Plaza Gardens Restaurant at Central Plaza, it offers great views and is very convenient, especially for families. Prices start from around €21 per person, so it can get expensive for larger groups.

Pro tip: The reserved viewing area is a great addition but there are plenty of great spots along the parade route if you don’t want to spend the extra. Central Plaza is great for the atmosphere, mid-main street is also great this year with the projections and snow. Our favourite places to view the Christmas Parade are in Town Square in front of the Christmas Tree and in Central Plaza. Aim to be at your spot at least 45-60 minutes before the parade start to get a front row view – we like to grab some snacks and a glass of champagne for the wait!

🎤Let’s Sing Christmas!
Let’s Sing Christmas! is a heartwarming musical spectacular held at the Videopolis Theatre in Discoveryland, where Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, and Goofy perform beloved Christmas carols alongside professional Christmas carolers and sometimes a live gospel choir.
We absolutely loved this show when we experienced it last year – it’s the perfect opportunity to warm up, get into the festive spirit, and sing along with your favourite Disney friends.

Tips for Character Meet & Greets
Virtual Queue Strategy: Popular characters like Santa Claus, Jack Skellington, Stitch (after 26 Dec), and Phantom Mickey require virtual queue reservations. These open at 9:45am and 2pm daily through the Disneyland Paris app and can book out within seconds, especially Santa. Have the app open and ready a few minutes before these times.
PhotoPass: Professional photographers are available at most major meet-and-greet locations. They’ll take photos on their cameras (available to purchase via PhotoPass) and the accompanying Cast Member will usually capture the moment on your phone or camera if you ask.
Character Timings: At Disneyland Paris, characters tend to finish up for the day in the late afternoon. They also take regular breaks throughout the day but return quite quickly.
Autographs: Bring an autograph book and pen! Most characters sign, and it makes a wonderful keepsake from your trip.
🍫 Festive Food & Shopping
The Chalets Gourmands (also known as L’Hiver Gourmand) are open in both parks serving up winter favourites. Across both parks you’ll find hot chocolate, festive treats and Mickey-shaped desserts.

Look out for these seasonal delights available at locations throughout Disneyland Paris:
Hot Drinks: Warm up with hot chocolate or mulled wine and festive drinks with seasonal flavours available at Victoria’s Home-Style Restaurant.
Sweet Treats: Christmas-themed cupcakes, gingerbread cookies, Yule log cakes (bûche de Noël), festive macarons, Christmas ‘Tree’ Dessert (vanilla custard with chocolate hazelnut flavour – €5.00), and special holiday Mickey-shaped treats.
Savoury Options: At the Chalets Gourmands, enjoy traditional raclette.
Souvenir Cups & Popcorn Buckets: Special Christmas-themed popcorn buckets are available.
Money-Saving Tip: Look for the ‘sweet break’ combo which bundles a festive treat and hot drink at a slight discount. You can also grab a larger festive drink from Starbucks in the Disney Village before heading into the parks.
👨👩👧 Family Tips for Visiting in 2025
Book early: Christmas weeks fill fast, especially the period between Christmas and New Year. Hotels and restaurants should be booked as far in advance as possible.
Arrive early: the parks are open from 9am during the festive season (8am if you have Extra Magic Hour), but arriving 30-45 minutes before opening means you can be among the first through the gates and experience popular attractions with minimal waits.
Use the app: Download the Disneyland Paris app before your trip. Use it for virtual queues (opening at 9:45am and 2pm daily), real-time wait times, show schedules, parade times, restaurant reservations, and mobile food ordering.
Dress warm with layers: Expect temperatures between 6–8 °C (43–46°F) and occasional rain. It can snow in late November or December! Layer clothing, bring waterproof jackets, warm coats, hats, scarves, and gloves. Comfortable (waterproof if you can) shoes are essential.
Take breaks: Return to your hotel midday to rest, especially with young children. The parks are magical in the evening, so saving energy for night-time shows is worthwhile.
Plan parade spots early: If not using the reserved viewing area, aim to arrive at your chosen spot around 45-60 minutes before the parade starts for front-row views. Try watching from different locations (Central Plaza vs Town Square) to see different show stops and character interactions.
Pack snacks and drinks: While there’s plenty of food available, having some snacks and water bottles can save time and money, especially for children. You can bring food into the parks.
What to Pack:
- Blanket (to keep warm waiting for the parades and nighttime shows)
- Portable phone charger (for all those photos and app use!)
- Refillable water bottle
- Autograph book and pen
- Waterproof shoes
- Layers of warm clothing
Manage expectations with virtual queues: The most popular characters (Santa, Jack Skellington) book out extremely quickly – often within seconds – there is a reasonable chance you won’t get a slot during your stay.
Check the weather forecast: The week before your trip, check the forecast and adjust your packing accordingly. December and early January can be quite cold and wet.
