Cinderella’s Royal Table is one of the hottest reservations at Walt Disney World with guests having the opportunity to dine in the banquet hall in Cinderella’s Castle while meeting some wonderful Princesses.
For Princess fans, Cinderella’s Royal Table is a magical Disney World experience and we love to dine there as a special treat for our very own princess-loving trio!
For those of you considering princess dining at Disney World, we wanted to share our review and experiences of Cinderella’s Royal Table and our thoughts on whether it is worth it.
Cinderella’s Royal Table
Hosted and greeted on arrival by Cinderella, guests are served breakfast, lunch or dinner while enjoying table visits from Princesses Aurora, Ariel, Jasmine and Snow White.
The princess dining is served in the beautiful banquet room overlooking Fantasyland in Cinderella’s Castle in Magic Kindom. The grand banquet hall is a magnificent backdrop with stone archways, medieval flags and stained glass windows.
There are wonderful views of Fantasyland from the dining room.
How to Reserve Cinderella’s Royal Table?
Cinderella’s Royal Table is extremely popular and reservations are usually snapped up as soon as the advance dining window opens. Guests with a Disney Resort Hotel reservation can make reservations 60 days + length of stay (up to a maximum of 10 nights) in advance. All other guests can make reservations up to 60 days in advance, with reservations opening at 6am EST 60 days out.
In our experience, Cinderella’s Royal Table is one of the hardest reservations to get at Walt Disney World. We find it the hardest dining reservation to secure after the initial drop and, in our experience, it’s surpassed only by appointments at the nearby Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. However, with the right planning and tools you can nearly always get your desired dining time – we’ve been lucky with reserving appointments on the day they are released, with getting a cancellation in the lead-up to our stay and have even grabbed an 8am slot a couple of days before a Magic Kingdom day!
Cindrella’s Royal Table tip: on our most recent trip (summer 2023) our reservations included Cinderella’s Royal Table, Ohana, Topolino Terrace, Space 220, Oga’s Catina, Roundup Rodeo BBQ, Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, Storybook Dining at Artist’s Point and the Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Party. Early morning at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique was by far the hardest reservation to secure closely followed by anything pre 9pm at Cinderella’s Royal Table across all those extremely pouplar restaurants!
Tips for getting a reservation at Cinderella’s Royal Table
- Make a list of preferred dates and dining times and a backup list of other acceptable but not ideal dining times
- Set a reminder for just before 6am EST opening 60 days out from your desired reservation (or 60 days + the duration of your stay, max 10 days, for Disney Resort hotel guests)
- Reserve the moment your reservation window opens
- Sign up for Mouse Dining and set text alerts for your preferred days and times if you don’t get your favored appointment times.
- Cinderella’s Royal Table has a 24 hour cancelation window so there is still hope! If you arrive at Walt Disney World and still need an appointment then check availability every evening – we find most cancellations are made the evening before or even in the 48 hours before.
- You have to prepay Cinderella’s Royal Table at the time of your reservation but there is a 24 cancelation window so make sure you read the terms. We’ve cancelled within the listed cancellation window and received a full refund without any issues.
Cinderella’s Royal table tip: dining alerts are a Walt Disney World essential and we recommend signing up to Mouse Dining. You sign up, set alerts to your desired reservations (e.g. 8am Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, breakfast at Cinderella’s Royal Table) and, as soon as a cancellation is made, the dining alert service will alert you via email and/or text so you can reserve it immediately. We rely heavily on dining alerts in the run up to all our Walt Disney World and Disneyland California trips and we’ve always been able to secure a reservation. We’ve tried a few services and always return to Mouse Dining. as their alerts are super speedy and reliable – there is a free service (email only, 6 alerts) but we use the monthly subscription ($9, email and text alerts, includes international texts) in the months leading up to our Walt Disney World visit. If you want one of the highly sought-after reservations like Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique or Cinderella’s Royal Table then we’d recommend the paid monthly subscription as you can set up alerts for all your planned Magic Kingdom Days and we always notice the text alerts instantly. Make sure to practice with an easy-to-secure reservation so you know the exact process – this is essential as Bibbidi Bobbidi and Cinderella’s Royal Table reservations are snapped up almost instantly! – check out Mouse Dining here!
Cinderella’s Royal Table and Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique
If one of your younger guests is planning to have a Royal Transformation in Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique we recommend making an appointment at Bibbidi Bobbidi and then, after a minimum two hour window, reserving Cinderella’s Royal Table. It’s wonderful to meet the Princesses at Cinderella’s Royal Table after they’ve had their very own royal makeover!
If you are a Disney Resort Hotel guest and want to align your Cinderella’s Royal Table with a Bibbidi Bobbidi Royal Makeover appointment then remember you can reserve Enchanting Extras including Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at 12am 60 days + the duration of your stay (up to a maximum of 10 days). This means you can reserve Bibbidi Bobbidi a few hours in advance of the dining reservations reservations opening up at 6am EST and make sure to align the two.

The Princesses at Cinderella’s Royal Table
Cinderella greets guests upon entering her Castle and, typically, Aurora, Jasmine, Snow White, and Ariel are in attendance during the meal at Cinderella’s Royal Table.
Cinderella’s Royal Table tip: Rapunzel was at Cinderella’s Royal Table during one of our meals and took the place of Jasmine. Otherwise, Aurora, Jamine, Snow White and Ariel seem to be the typical line up. If you want to meet Rapunzel, she hosts a meet and greet with Tiana in the nearby Princess Fairytale Hall.
Upon entering Cinderella’s Castle, guests wait downstairs until their table is ready in the banquet hall upstairs. The decor is wonderful from the moment you enter and it’s almost like another world from the Fantasyland crowds just outside!
There is a short line to meet Cinderella, who stands in front of a regal backdrop, and a PhotoPass photographer is on hand to capture the moment.
Cinderella does not visit guests during the meal itself, the only opportunity to meet her is upon entering the Castle.
Cinderella’s Royal Table tip: like all character dining, we recommend being prepared. Make sure everyone is ready, you know what photos you want and have your autographs books out – the meet and greets are so exciting and happen so fast it can be easy to forget that you wanted an authograph or a specific photo. We have 3 young kids and often handle meet and greets like pros but occassionally they are such a blur of chaos that we can only laugh about them afterwards!
The other Princesses in attendance (typically Aurora, Jasmine, Ariel and Snow White) walk through the restaurant stopping by each table to greet guests.
We have a lovely time with each of the princesses and they always make a huge fuss of the children. We are able to take lots of photos of our party with the princesses.
The princesses are announced to Royal fanfare and, after stopping by all the tables in the banquet hall, take a break before their next visit. It is easy to meet all the Princesses as they make sure to stop by each table.
There are 3 sittings at Cinderella’s Royal Table – breakfast is served from 8am to 10:15am, lunch is served from 11am to 2:55pm and dinner from 3pm to 5:55pm – and the menu depends on which meal you are attending.
All means are sit-down and served to the table. Lunch and dinner share the same menu while breakfast is focused towards a brunch-style menu. It is slightly less expensive ($65 adults/$39 kids plus tax and gratuity) than lunch and dinner ($79 adults/$47 kids plus tax and gratuity).
Lunch and Dinner Menu
- Appetisers: soup, Ceasar Salad, braised beef and jumbo shrimp.
- Entrees are typically pork tenderloin, tenderloin of beef, fish of the day, slow-braised chicken and gnocchi
- The dessert finale includes Jaq & Gus (cheesecake), The Clock Strikes 12 (chocolate mousse) and a Coffee Pot de Crème (vegan coffee pot de Crème)
Kids can choose between sliced apples, garden salad, cheese and grapes as an appetiser. This is followed by one of fish, chicken nuggets, beef tenderloin and macaroni cheese accompanied by two options from seasonal vegetables, rice, corn on the cob and mashed potatoes. For dessert, younger guests can enjoy yoghurt parfait, a build your own cupcake and a seasonal sorbet.
Sodas, tea, coffee, milk and hot chocolate are included. Alcoholic drinks are available at an additional cost.
- Pastry plate: assorted pastries
- Entrees: traditional breakfast, quiche, avocado toast, shrimp and grits, beef tenderloin and eggs, French toast
Kids can choose between egg white frittata, oatmeal, Mickey Mouse Waffles and assorted cold cereals. This is accompanied by two options from yoghurt, fruit, home fries, turkey or pork sausage and bacon.
What is the best time to dine at Cinderella’s Royal Table?
Our favorite dining times include:
- Breakfast: we love having somewhere to sit down for breakfast in Magic Kingdom. It means we don’t have to worry too much about breakfast prior to early entry/rope dropping and it gives our kids a chance to recharge for the afternoon. They also tend to eat more from the breakfast menu and it is always a little less expensive than lunch or dinner.
- After a Royal Transformation at Bibiddi Bobbidi Boutique in Magic Kingdom: if you are lucky enough to secure a dining spot at Cinderella’s Royal Table we recommend trying to get your kids a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique reservation earlier on the same day so they are all set to meet your Princesses in style!
- 8am reservation: Magic Kingdom usually opens at 9am (or 8.30am for guests with Early Entry) so an 8am reservation means you can enter Fantasyland prior to the park opening and start the day early. You will only have access to the area in front of Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and the entrance to Cinderella’s Royal Table.

Yes, for sure! Many of the young guests wear prince and princess costumes for their Royal dining – we picked up some lovely (and relatively inexpensive) outfits prior to travelling.
