As one of Disney’s biggest stars, seeing Mickey Mouse is high on the wish list for so many Disneyland Paris visitors.

The good news is that Mickey has several meet-and-greet locations across the resort, including his classic Fantasyland meet, the brilliant Phantom Manor-style meet in Frontierland and the new Adventure Way meet in Disney Adventure World. You can also see him in Disney Stars on Parade, A Million Splashes of Colour, Mickey and the Magician, at character dining and sometimes at Disney Hotel character meets.

Here’s where to meet Mickey Mouse at Disneyland Paris in 2026, plus the best places to see him without joining a character queue.

These are the places where you can usually get a proper photo with Mickey Mouse:

Meet Mickey Mouse

The classic Mickey Mouse meet and greet is at Meet Mickey Mouse in Fantasyland.

This is Mickey’s dedicated meet-and-greet location, where guests head backstage to meet Magician Mickey between shows. It’s a lovely setting and one of the most popular character encounters in Disneyland Park.

Mickey usually appears here in his red and black magician outfit, and Disney PhotoPass is available. You can also take your own photos.

Meet Mickey Mouse uses the Disneyland Paris Virtual Queue system. This means you don’t simply join a long physical queue in the same way as before. You need to secure a Virtual Queue slot when availability opens in the app, and slots are limited – make sure to read our guide to Virtual Queues at Disneyland Paris so you are clued up on how it works.

if meeting Mickey is a must-do, check the Disneyland Paris app once you are inside the park and be ready for the Virtual Queue drops. This is one of the most popular character meets at Disneyland Paris.

Mysterious Meet near Phantom Manor

One of our favourite Mickey Mouse meet-and-greets at Disneyland Paris is the mysterious meet near Phantom Manor in Frontierland.

This meet is listed in the Disneyland Paris app and it is usually Mickey Mouse although occasionally Pluto makes and appearance instead. Mickey Mouse wears his Phantom Manor-style outfit and it’s one of the best Mickey looks in the park.

The setting is perfect, the costume is brilliant and it feels a little more unusual than the classic magician Mickey meet in Fantasyland. It’s one of those character meets that feels very Disneyland Paris.

Meet Mickey on Adventure Way

One of the newest places to meet Mickey Mouse at Disneyland Paris is on Adventure Way in Disney Adventure World.

This is a charming encounter featuring Mickey in his new Adventure Way outfit against a backdrop of stunning lake views.

This is a lovely option if you’re spending time in Disney Adventure World, especially now that Adventure Way, Raiponce Tangled Spin, Adventure Bay and World of Frozen are part of the park.

Royal Banquet at the Disneyland Hotel

Royal Banquet is one of our favourite places to meet Mickey Mouse at Disneyland Paris in 2026.

Located inside the Disneyland Hotel, Royal Banquet is a premium character dining buffet where Mickey and friends appear in their royal outfits.

We loved this experience. The setting is beautiful, the food is a big step up from the older character dining buffets and the character outfits are absolutely gorgeous.

Mickey is joined by Minnie and either Donald and Daisy or Goofy and Pluto, depending on the sitting. The interactions feel much more relaxed than trying to squeeze lots of character meets into a busy park day.

Royal Banquet is a great option if meeting Mickey is a priority but you don’t want to rely only on Virtual Queue or app-listed meets.

This is a very popular character dining experience. Tables can be booked through the Disneyland Paris website or app up to 2 months in advance, or from booking confirmation for Disney Hotel guests.

Plaza Gardens Character Dining

For as long as I can remember, dinner at Plaza Gardens was one of the easiest ways to meet Mickey Mouse at Disneyland Paris, especially at dinner.

However, this has changed for 2026. Plaza Gardens Restaurant is currently closed for a significant refurbishment, so the classic Plaza Gardens character dining experience is not available at the moment.

When Plaza Gardens reopens, it will be worth checking whether character dining returns in the same format. For now, don’t plan your 2026 trip around meeting Mickey here.

Disney Hotel Character Meets

If you’re staying onsite at a Disneyland Paris hotel, you may have the chance to meet Disney characters at your hotel. These hotel meets are one of our favourite perks of staying onsite, especially with young kids, because the queues are often much easier than in the parks.

If you’re hoping to meet Mickey Mouse at your hotel, your best options are usually Disney Newport Bay Club and Disney Hotel Santa Fe. These are the two Disney Hotels where Mickey is most likely to appear at the hotel character meet although the characters vary daily.

At Disney Sequoia Lodge, the character meet is usually one of Mickey’s friends such as Max, Goofy or Donald.

At Disney Hotel Cheyenne, the meet is Toy Story themed and is usually Woody or Jessie.

At the Disneyland Hotel, the hotel character experience is a princess meet rather than a Mickey and Friends meet while at Disney Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel, the hotel meet is a Marvel Super Hero experience.

Pop-Up Mickey Mouse Meet-and-Greets

One of the fun things about Disneyland Paris is that you never quite know when Mickey Mouse might appear.

In addition to the app-listed meets, Mickey can sometimes pop up in seasonal locations, special events or surprise character moments around the parks.

Over the years, we’ve seen Mickey appear in Frontierland with Minnie at Halloween.

Where to See Mickey Mouse at Disneyland Paris

These are the best places to see Mickey Mouse without necessarily getting a posed photo or autograph.

Mickey Mouse in Disney Stars on Parade

Even if you don’t manage to meet Mickey Mouse, you’ll almost certainly see him in Disney Stars on Parade.

Disney Stars on Parade is the main daytime parade in Disneyland Park and Mickey is one of the headline characters.

This is one of the easiest ways to see Mickey without having to queue, and it’s such a lovely moment for kids who are desperate to spot him.

The energy when the parade music starts is always brilliant. Our kids love waving to Mickey from the route, and it’s a great way to see lots of characters in one go.

Mickey Mouse in A Million Splashes of Colour

Another brilliant way to see Mickey Mouse at Disneyland Paris is during A Million Splashes of Colour, when the show is running (it is currently scheduled to 6 September 2026)

This colourful daytime show takes place around Central Plaza and features dancers, performers and Disney characters in bright, high-energy outfits.

Mickey Mouse in Mickey and the Magician

Mickey and the Magician is one of the best shows at Disneyland Paris and one of the best ways to see Mickey Mouse on stage.

The show follows Mickey as he learns the tricks of the trade from magical Disney characters including Genie, Lumière and Rafiki. The show is on a scheduled break from 15 June to 31 July 2026. (Disneyland Paris)

It’s a beautiful show with music, dancing, special effects and some really lovely character moments. Mickey is central to the whole story, so this is a great option if your child loves him but you don’t want to spend ages in a character queue.

Mickey Mouse on the Train Station Balcony

Extra Magic Time is one of the best perks of staying in a Disney Hotel or having a Disneyland Pass Gold.

Mickey regularly appears during Extra Magic Time in Disneyland Park, often welcoming guests from the train station balcony overlooking Town Square. It’s usually more of a wave-and-interaction moment rather than a proper photo meet, but it is such a magical way to start the day.

Sometimes Mickey is joined by Minnie or other friends, and the atmosphere in those first few minutes of the morning is always lovely.

He also regularly appears above the park entrance, waving, blowing kisses and saying goodbye to guests as they leave Disneyland Park.

There’s something really magical about walking down Main Street at closing time and seeing Mickey above the station. It’s one of those simple Disneyland Paris moments we always love.

Mickey Mouse in Seasonal Shows and Celebrations

Mickey Mouse is a huge part of Disneyland Paris seasonal entertainment.

Seasonal Mickey is always one of our favourites because the outfits are so cute.

Mickey Mouse Snacks and Merchandise

If your child loves Mickey Mouse, you’ll find him everywhere in snack and merchandise form.

Disneyland Paris often has Mickey-shaped treats, including Mickey pizza at Pizzeria Bella Notte and Colonel Hathi’s Outpost Restaurant.

You’ll also find plenty of Mickey merchandise across both parks, Disney Village and the Disney Hotels, including plushes, ears, clothing, mugs, pins and toys.

Best Ways to Meet Mickey Mouse at Disneyland Paris in 2026

If meeting Mickey is a top priority, these are the best options.

Meet Mickey Mouse in Fantasyland is the classic Mickey meet, but you need to use the Virtual Queue.

The mysterious meet near Phantom Manor is one of the best Mickey meets in the park and is usually Mickey outside Halloween and Christmas, although Pluto can appear occasionally.

Adventure Way in Disney Adventure World is a beautiful newer Mickey meet with lake views.

Royal Banquet is the best premium character dining option for Mickey and friends.

Disney Newport Bay Club and Disney Hotel Santa Fe are the best Disney Hotels to keep in mind if you’re hoping to meet Mickey at your hotel.

Disney Stars on Parade, A Million Splashes of Colour and Mickey and the Magician are the easiest ways to see Mickey without joining a meet-and-greet queue.

Final Thoughts on Meeting Mickey Mouse at Disneyland Paris

Mickey Mouse is still one of the most magical characters to meet at Disneyland Paris, and in 2026 there are lots of ways to see him.

The main Meet Mickey Mouse location in Fantasyland is still the classic choice, but the Phantom Manor mysterious meet and the new Adventure Way Mickey meet are fantastic additions to your list.

With Plaza Gardens closed for refurbishment, Royal Banquet is now the strongest character dining option for meeting Mickey and friends. Add in Disney Hotel meets, Extra Magic Time, Disney Stars on Parade, A Million Splashes of Colour and Mickey and the Magician, and there are plenty of chances to see Mickey during your trip.

As always, check the Disneyland Paris app on the day of your visit. Character appearances can change, but if Mickey is high on your list, a little planning makes a big difference.
