World of Frozen has finally opened at Disney Adventure World and stepping into Arendelle for the first time is pure magic. Having explored the new World of Frozen every day during our recent visit, we can safely say that the transformation of Walt Disney Studios Park into Disney Adventure World is everything we hoped for and more. It is undeniably stunning.
We’ll show you exactly how to navigate the World of Frozen so you can spend less time waiting in line and more time taking in the magic.

- Top Priority: Frozen Ever After ride
- Disney Cascade of Lights: 10:30pm daily
- Virtual Queue Drops for Anna and Elsa: 8:45 AM (special drop), 09:45 AM and 2:00 PM
- Accessibility: Regular priority card access rules apply throughout Disney Adventure World.
- Download the App: Essential for the Virtual Queue drops (and for Disneyland Paris in general!)
- Best for Fussy Eaters: Eat at the Hollywood Gardens Restaurant in World Premiere Plaza before you enter.
- Power Bank: Between the Virtual Queue and taking photos of the North Mountain, your battery will drain fast.
- Check the Weather: Adventure Bay is very open; it gets windy and cold during the nighttime show, so bring layers if the forecast suggests!

Map of World of Frozen and Disney Adventure World
The new layout of Disney Adventure World is basically one long, beautiful path that pulls you from the front of the park all the way to the water. We’ve made a map of Disney Adventure World and World of Frozen with all the key places marked on it to help you plan your day.
It starts at the World Premiere Plaza entrance and leads you onto Adventure Way, a wide promenade filled with gardens inspired by Tangled and Toy Story.
This walk opens up into Adventure Bay, the massive new lake that sits at the heart of the park and serves as the stage for the night time shows.
Directly across the lake, you’ll see the village of Arendelle and the 118-foot-tall North Mountain, which acts as a huge visual landmark for the World of Frozen as soon as you start your walk down the promenade.

Getting into World of Frozen
To access Disney Adventure World from March 29, 2026 onwards, you must hold one of:
• A 2-park ticket
• A Disney Adventure World 1-park ticket
• A hotel + tickets package
• An Annual Pass reservation specifically for that date

Without an eligible ticket or reservation, you cannot enter the park — and therefore cannot enter World of Frozen.

How to get into World of Frozen
While there were strict entry controls for World of Frozen during the initial launch period, these have been removed and entry to World of Frozen is now possible from both sides of the lake. We didn’t experience any waits to get into World of Frozen.

Use Extra Magic Time
Guests staying at Disneyland Paris hotels have the benefit that they can enter the park for Extra Magic Time. We enjoyed Extra Magic Time as the land was relatively quiet so we could take some photos and enjoy the boutiques. However, wait times for Frozen Ever After are quite long even during Extra Magic Time unless you are among the first to enter Disney Adventure World.

Standby Queue to enter World of Frozen
In the first days of World of Frozen, Disneyland Paris implemented a standby queue to the land to manage capacity. However, we didn’t experience any wait times even during the busy Easter Week.

Our World of Frozen Strategy
If you want to make the most of your time in Arendelle, there are two things to focus on early.

- First, the Frozen Ever After ride: wait times are generally upwards of 60 minutes for Frozen Ever After. You can purchase an individual Disney Premier Access One pass for the ride and it is included in the Disney Premier Access Ultimate pass.

- Second, secure a virtual queue slot for the Anna and Elsa meet and greet, Rencontre Royale. At the moment, there is an extra 8.45 AM drop during Extra Magic Time so make the most of it if you can. The regular slots drop at 09:45 AM and 2:00 PM and disappear in seconds, so set an alarm and be ready – read our full guide to the Virtual Queues at Disneyland Paris
If you miss out at the initial drop time make sure to keep checking the Virtual Queue as you can sometimes pick up cancellations.

Once you’ve secured the ride and the meet and greet the rest of your day is a lot more flexible as you will have plenty of times to take in the remaining rides and shows. World of Frozen and Arendelle is one of the best themed areas we’ve ever seen in a Disney park so we recommend taking the time to walk around and explore the area. There are so many hidden and beautiful features throughout the area.

One last tip is to make sure to return to the World of Frozen after dark. The area generally doesn’t have a queue later in the day and Arendelle transforms after dark.

Attractions
Frozen Ever After
Frozen Ever After is a musical boat journey through the North Mountain. It features state-of-the-art animatronics, a backward segment and a surprisingly fun drop. Our family absolutely loved the experience and it might just be our new favourite ride at Disneyland Paris. It’s a super fun family ride, the theming is incredible and immersive and the drop (while higher than Pirates of the Caribbean) is very smooth – our 3 year old can confirm!
- No height requirement
- 4 guests per row (infants can sit on a lap at the Cast Member’s discretion)
- Expectant mothers cannot ride
- Premier Access available
- Single Rider Queue available
- Wheelchair transfer essential
From our experience, the shortest wait times for Frozen Ever After are close to park closing. Most guests have have gone home or are focused on watching the nightime shows.

Meet and Greet: The Royal Encounter
Elsa and Anna have opened the gates of Arendelle Castle, inviting us into their Royal Hall — and honestly, this was one of those moments that completely stopped us in our tracks. Disneyland Paris has absolutely outdone itself here! You’re welcomed into a stunning setting where you meet both sisters together, and it genuinely feels like you’ve stepped right into their world.
For our girls, it was one of the most special moments of the whole day.
Virtual Queue
The Disneyland Paris Virtual Queue system is the only way to meet Anna and Elsa. There is no standby line and no concessions for this, even for Priority Card holders. Everyone follows the same process and you must use the app.
The slots drop at 08:45AM (we’re not sure how long this will continue), 09:45 AM and 2:00 PM. They disappear in seconds, so you need to be ready.

A Celebration in Arendelle
A 15-minute show unfolds on Viking longships across Adventure Bay, featuring Anna, Elsa, Kristoff and Olaf, brought to life with a mix of iconic Frozen songs and brand-new music. The new show that takes places on the water in front of Arendelle Castle was a highlight of the new Disney Adventure World.
The show runs multiple times a day (you can check daily in the app) so make sure to catch it. You can watch from the lakeside outside Arendelle Castle and from along the bridge, and there is also a reserved viewing area for guests with a Priority or Easy Access card. We recommend grabbing a spot on the walk way opposite Arendelle Castle around 30 minutes before show start for the best view.
The Olaf animatronic features on one of the boats in the show and it’s amazing to see it.

Roaming Characters in World of Frozen
There are a number of roaming characters that you might be lucky to spot in Arendelle
Mossie the Baby Troll
Mossie, the interactive baby troll, is one of the most unique little touches in World of Frozen and a real highlight, especially for younger kids. She roams around Arendelle with her handler, reacting to guests with movements and sounds that make her feel surprisingly lifelike. It’s not a formal meet and greet, but if you spot her wandering through the village, it’s such a lovely, spontaneous moment and really adds to the feeling that Arendelle is alive.

You can also purchase Rúna, the interactive baby troll, at the Fjord View boutique. She reacts to touch, blinks, moves, lights up and even interacts with elements of the land and other trolls, which is a really nice extension of that experience to take home
Oaken
Our favourite shopkeeper and sauna fan is also usually found near the Arendelle fountain or on the bridge when he makes an appearance.

Olaf
Olaf makes random appearances in World of Frozen so it might be a case if you are lucky on the day you’ll see him. He usually appears in the area between the Nordic Crowns Tavern and the Frozen Ever After Ride.

Olaf can also be seen on the boat in the Celebration in Arendelle show.
Keep an eye out for Cast Member Activity between Nordic Crowns Tavern and Frozen Ever After as this might suggest an appearance from Olaf. They will also mark out the area with low ropes. The Cast Members are really good at ensuring children are given access to the front of the area so they can see Olaf.

Nordic Crowns Tavern
Nordic Crowns Tavern is the main quick-service location within World of Frozen and is very much Nordic-inspired. It is the only food option in Arendelle and offers build-your-own style meals with salmon, meatballs, mashed potatoes, grains, vegetables and sauces, along with themed desserts and ice creams.
We really liked the new ordering system on the touchscreen kiosks and there is ample seating. Orders are made through the kiosks and the Annual Pass discount is available at the kiosks.
World of Frozen tip: Nordic Crowns Tavern is expensive but the food is very good – the best way to describe it is Ikea style dishes! It’s worth noting that breakfast options are limited to a muffin and drinks.

Merchandise
There are two shopping experiences in Arendelle: Arendelle Boutique and Fjord View.
Arendelle Boutique carries the most extensive range, while Fjord View is smaller but does have the popular fill-a-jar mini figurines.
From what we experienced, the most popular merch during previews was the Frozen ears, spirit jerseys, a fleece featuring Marshmallow and the Frozen clock.
World of Frozen tip: most of the new merchandise (with the exception of Rúna and the mini figurines) will be sold in Disney Adventure World Store to manage demand.

Extras
Face Painting and Hair
My girls were so excited to have their faces painted in Arendelle, and it ended up being one of their favourite extras of the day.
The kiosk is located beside Fjord View, making it easy to stop by as you explore the land.
There are a few different options — face painting (€19), hand painting (€15), hair styling and accessories (€42), or bundled options up to €75.
It fits perfectly with the Frozen setting and is a really nice add-on. I’m not going to lie… I’m planning to get it done myself next time.

The face painting kiosk opens at 9am. I’d recommend getting in line before regular park opening as the queue can get quite long.
Village Mailbox
One of the loveliest small details in World of Frozen is the village mailbox beside Fjord View.
It’s not just decorative — guests can actually send postcards from Arendelle, which makes for a really nice, low-key souvenir. The postcards cost €5, come with an exclusive Arendelle stamp, and can be posted anywhere in the world, which is a lovely little detail.
